Location: Salt Lake Office
Compensation: $29–$34 an hour ($60,000–$70,000 annually, depending on experience)

We are seeking a dynamic and client-focused Account Manager to join our Personal Lines Department. In this role, you will manage a book of personal lines clients, providing exceptional service and tailored insurance solutions while ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and growth.

We are seeking a dynamic and client-focused Account Manager to join our Personal Lines Department. In this role, you will manage a book of personal lines clients, providing exceptional service and tailored insurance solutions while ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and growth.
- Maintain a book of accounts including; house, surplus lines and High Net Worth accounts.
- Be educated with regard to various lines of coverage and be able to review potential exposures that can be addressed through risk transfer
- Conduct periodic coverage and risk reviews to ensure the adequacy of the client’s coverage. Reviews should include contact and correspondence with client.
- Process changes and renewals through communication with the insured and insurance companies
- Order and remarket renewals, quote and prepare proposals and summaries of insurance
- Submit applications for new business to markets and obtain additional information needed by carriers to provide quotes
- Document all customer interactions and transactions in the agency management system
- Maintain and communicate up‑to‑date knowledge of market conditions, pricing strategies and market/product options
- Provide ongoing service to clients, including but not limited to binders, invoices, endorsements, and certificates
- Review policy documents against information in client management system to ensure accuracy
- Accuracy and attention to detail are required in all matters to minimize the risk of errors and omissions
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor degree preferred
- Experience in personal lines insurance, preferably with larger and more complex clients and risks
- Active Utah Personal Lines License
- Insurance designations desired- PLIC, AINS
- Knowledge of insurance coverages and forms including Personal Automobile, Recreational, Inland Marine, Residential Property, Personal Umbrella/Excess Liability, Flood, Earthquake
- Understand the content and structure of the insurance contract
- Excellent communication skills, including listening, speaking, writing, conflict resolution, and negotiation
- Ability to establish and develop strong relationships with clients, carriers, trusted business partners and coworkers
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in a variety of computer software applications used by the agency, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint; EPIC; as well as the Internet and Carrier Web Sites
