Position Title: Finance Assistant Classification: Non-exempt
Reports To: Controller Hours: Full Time (40 hours/week)
Location: Salt Lake Office
Compensation: $21-$23 an hour
Position Summary
Provide operational and administrative support to the finance team by processing transactions, maintaining records, and assisting with day-to-day activities. This role helps ensure accurate data, timely processing, and effective coordination across departments.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate verbally and to listen for instructions and information. The employee is also required to sit for long periods of time often in front of a computer monitor and operate a computer keyboard. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

- Process vendor invoices and coordinate payments
- Assist with issuing payments and maintaining payment records
- Record and track incoming payments
- Prepare reports and follow up on outstanding balances
- Maintain and update financial and operational records
- Support team members with data entry, reporting, and administrative tasks
- Assist with researching and resolving discrepancies or issues
- Organize and maintain files and documentation
- Contribute to process improvements and workflow efficiency
- Provide general administrative support to the broader team as needed
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in an administrative, finance support, or operations role preferred
- 2–4 years of experience in a professional office environment
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Problem-solving and critical thinking
- Reliable and dependable
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Proficient in Excel and general office software
- Positive attitude and willingness to support team needs
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
