Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and coordinate commercial insurance team members.
- Establish priorities, accountability, and service expectations.
- Conduct team meetings, performance reviews, workload assessments, and training discussions.
- Support employee development, engagement, retention, and succession planning.
- Partner with leadership and HR on performance management and training initiatives.
- Oversee renewals, service activity, workloads, and key deadlines.
- Monitor quality standards, workflow efficiency, and compliance.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting, and performance metrics.
- Identify and resolve operational risks and process improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate resources across departments and external partners.
- Manage a select portfolio of complex or strategic commercial accounts.
- Lead renewal planning, coverage analysis, marketing, negotiations, and client meetings.
- Serve as an escalation resource for complex client, carrier, and coverage issues.
- Support client retention, relationship growth, and service excellence.
- Convert business development goals into coordinated team action plans.
- Create operational capacity for Producers to focus on client relationships and new business.
- Support prospecting, submissions, proposal development, and implementation activities.
- Identify and drive cross-selling, retention, and growth opportunities.
- 5+ years of commercial property & casualty insurance experience.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams, workflows, or complex books of business preferred.
- Active Utah Property & Casualty License.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Professional designation (CIC, CPCU, CRM, ARM, or similar) preferred.
- Proficiency with agency management systems, Microsoft 365, and reporting tools.
- Advanced commercial insurance expertise.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and accountability skills.
- Operational and analytical problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
